Common Kitchen Fitting Questions
Will you remove the old kitchen?
We can remove and dispose of the old kitchen if you require, we can also remove old wall tiles and floor coverings, just let us know what you require.
We need a new circuit for our new induction hob?
if you need a new electrical circuit installed for a induction hob then we will first do the current calculation to see if and what cable will need to be installed and then work out the best course of action.
How long will installation take?
This all depends on the size of your kitchen but the average kitchen installation takes one week. If plastering, decorating and wall/floor covering are required then this will add to the timescale.
How much will it cost to fit my new kitchen?
This is the most common query we get asked, there are several factors to the cost of installing a kitchen so the best way is to send us your new kitchen plans and we can work you out a FREE quotation.
Will you connect my appliances on installation?
We can connect all your appliances if required to the services so your new kitchen is fully functional at the end of the fit. Install Plus are fully qualified to carry out this and certificates are issued where required.
Can we have downlights in our kitchen ceiling?
In most cases downlights can be fitted into your kitchen ceiling, we will have to install new cables and there is a little work involved but this will be explained to you in full. Downlights are a great way to bring light into any kitchen.
There is a radiator in the way of our new kitchen?
Removing/replacing or relocating a radiator in the kitchen is something we can carry out for you. We are qualified to work on all central heating and plumbing systems. We can also add a new radiator and put in new pipework if needed.
Can you arrange disposal of the old kitchen?
There is a lot of waste when removing the old kitchen and there is also the packaging from the new kitchen which is often not thought about which can mount up, we can responsibly dispose and recycle your old kitchen.
